STATEMENT concerning SARS-COV-2 (Coronavirus)
We continue to closely monitor developments with respect to the Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).
We have been taking steps to ensure the safety and wellness of our employees including;
- Heightening the awareness of COVID-19 symptoms
- Emphasizing the importance of personal hygiene
- Implementing additional cleaning steps on premise
- Travel restrictions (both internationally and domestically)
- Evaluating the need and attendance at larger group gatherings
- Guidelines for visitors coming to our locations
Our manufacturing sites are unaffected at this stage. All lines are running at full capacity. Due to the mostly mechanical harvesting and processing of our mushrooms, we do not foresee any problems with deliveries and stocks on the short term. We are not experiencing any problems with other raw material suppliers so far.
As you are aware, the global supply chain has been impacted due to the coronavirus outbreak, resulting in some delays regarding marine shipping. Truck deliveries are affected by additional checks concerning drivers and intensified instructions from customers perspective. These are all precautionary measurements and are currently not causing any major issues.
A team is working to determine the appropriate measures which should be taken during this event. This team will help guide our actions in responding to a potential local outbreak including measures to reduce spread of the illness and maintaining business continuity including IT and supply chain functions.
We realize this situation remains very dynamic. We will continue to provide updates as we learn more. Please don’t hesitate to contact your regular contact person in case you have any additional questions.
